We are excited to share the SMRCA 2026 event calendar. This year’s lineup is focused on delivering meaningful education, valuable industry updates, and opportunities to connect with fellow roofing professionals throughout our region.
Please mark your calendars:
March – Legal Update with Trent Cotney from the FRSA, along with a brief recap of FRSA membership advantages presented by Hawk Kinney from Eagle Tile.
April – GAF Training covering the basics of ISO installation and we will touch a little on TPO installation. This training will be hosted at the QXO location off Whitfield in Sarasota by Tim Rink from GAF.
May – 1st Annual SMRCA Fishing Tournament

June – Hurricane Season Update to help you prepare and protect your business.
July – Codes Update (to be confirmed) presented by Manny from FRSA.
August – Permitting update featuring personnel from the Sarasota and Manatee County permitting offices.
September – Membership Choice Event
You tell us what topic would be most beneficial to you. Please allow two months for the board to prepare and secure speakers and materials once a topic is selected.
October – Annual Golf Outing

December – SMRCA Christmas Party
